Cookies are small files a site stores in your browser. Watni also uses local storage, which works the same way — it keeps a bit of information on your device so the app remembers you between visits.

What we use

• · Essential — sign-in. Keeps your session active so you don't get logged out on every page. Without it, the app can't work.
• · Essential — your in-progress answers. Stores the goals and details you pick before you create an account, so nothing is lost when you sign up.
• · Preferences. Small things like what you've dismissed in the app so we don't nag you twice.

What we don't use

We don't run advertising cookies, and we don't sell your data or let third parties track you across other websites from Watni.

Third parties

When you choose to connect a bank or investment account, Plaid's own connection flow may set cookies needed to complete that connection. Those connections are read-only — balances and transactions only.

Your control

You can clear or block cookies and site data in your browser settings at any time. If you block the essential ones, signing in and saving your plan won't work.
