Privacy Policy

Last updated 2026. This page is maintained by the Watni team to explain how the app handles your information. It is a plain-language policy, not a certification or audit result.

What we collect

· Account info: your email and the name you give us.
· What you tell Watni in chat: birth year, marital status, kids' birth dates, home state.
· Financial data you connect or enter: account balances, transaction history, income, expenses and savings. Connections are read-only.
· Your goals, plans, approvals, and the actions you check off.

What we never ask for

Watni does not request permission to move money, initiate transfers or payments, or open accounts on your behalf. Bank connections are read-only: balances and transactions only.

How we use it

To build your goal-based plan, calculate suggested monthly contributions, show your progress, and remind you about the actions you chose to take. We do not sell your data.

Who we share it with

· Plaid, when you choose to connect a bank or investment account (read-only).
· Our hosting and database providers, which store your account and plan data.
· AI model providers, to help draft your plan from the details you provide.

Your control

You can pause, edit, or cancel your plan at any time in Settings. You can also delete your account. Deletion is immediate and permanent — your data is removed right away and can't be restored.
